Usage
Use (Hekserij)
Liffarome (IFF) has a green odor that undiluted is reminiscent of grass. The
smell is strong, making a dilution of, for example, 10% can therefore be useful.
In any case, this is possible in DPG. You usually use between 0.1% and 1% of
this substance in the fragrance composition, but more or less is also possible.
It goes well with green floral scents such as lily of the valley, hyacinth and
reseda. In addition, it can be used in fruit scents such as apple, pear, peach
and mango. On the other hand, a creative perfumer will be able to use it much
more widely: interesting combinations are conceivable with wood and musk scents.
It is primarily a top to middle note in perfumes and is stable in most products,
including soap.

Liffarome (IFF) is a colorless to pale yellow, clear liquid at room temperature.
The purity is at least 98%. The substance has a long shelf life. The substance
does not occur in nature, it is a synthetic substance. The manufacturer is IFF,

cis-3-Hexenylmethylcarbonate
