Methyl acetophenone has a strong odor, however, only when diluted or used does
it become clear which one. It is used in fresh spicy blossom scents such as
hawthorn, lilac, mimosa and acacia. In addition, as a fresh, slightly floral
accent in leathery scents. It can also be used in many fragrances for a fresh
spicy accent. It is a top to heart note in perfumes.
