Usage
Use (Hekserij)
Methyl Pamplemousse (Giv) is primarily used for the distinctive bitter
grapefruit scent it has. In addition, it is reminiscent of citral, lemongrass:
warm citrus aspects. It can be used anywhere you would otherwise use a different
citrus. The smell is not very strong, but also in lower concentrations
recognizable by the special bitter aspect. A 10% dilution in DPG can be useful
in some cases, but as a rule you will use this substance in larger quantities.
In perfumes it is mainly a top note. The substance is quite stable and can also
be used in soap.

Methyl Pamplemousse (Giv) is a colorless to pale yellow liquid. The substance
has a fairly long shelf life and does not occur in nature. Manufacturer is the
Swiss Givaudan. Amarocit is the same molecule, but from Symrise.
