Usage

Use (Hekserij)

Oud (Firbest) is a fragrance composition intended to replace or imitate natural oud extracts. It has a scent reminiscent of wood, resin and moss. The odor is not particularly strong, undiluted use is common. You usually use between 0.1% and 5% of this substance in the fragrance composition, but more, in a single note perfume for example, is not a problem. It combines well with woods and spicy scents, as well as floral scents such as jasmine. It is mainly a base note in perfumes. The stability is not well described, we recommend testing this well when used in, for example, soap or deodorant.

Oud (Firbest) is an orange-brown, viscous liquid at room temperature, which can already solidify at slightly lower temperatures. The substance has a fairly long shelf life.
