Usage
Use (Hekserij)
Piconia (IFF) has a dry woody scent reminiscent of aspects such as patchouli,
vetiver, hay and dried mint leaves. The smell is not particularly strong, so
undiluted use is common. Typical use is in wood accords, where you want the dry
wood aspects and not the sweet ones. You usually use between 0.1% and 15% of
this substance in the fragrance composition. It combines well with other woody
scents, but also with herbs. Suitable in lavender perfumes and fougères, but
also for a natural note in perfumes for detergents. It is primarily a base note
in perfumes and is stable in most products, including soap.

Piconia (IFF) is a colorless to pale yellow liquid at room temperature. The
purity is at least 83% and the substance has a fairly long shelf life. The
substance occurs in nature, but the synthetic version is used for use as a
fragrance. It is based on vegetable raw materials. The manufacturer is IFF.
