Usage
Use (Hekserij)
Romandolide (Fir) is a musky fragrance. The smell is not pronounced, so it is
not necessary to dilute it. You use it primarily in musk accords, usually at a
concentration of 0.5% to 20% of the fragrance composition. It combines well with
other musk fragrances, for example Galaxolide and Ethylene Brassylate. As with
other musk fragrances, it can be used in almost all perfumes, musk combines with
just about anything. It is primarily a base note in perfumes and is stable in
most products, including soap.
Physical properties

Romandolide (Fir) is a clear, colorless to pale yellow liquid at room
temperature. The purity is at least 90%, the substance has a fairly long shelf
life. The substance does not occur in nature, it is a synthetic substance. The
manufacturer is the Swiss Firmenich.
