Silvanone Supra (Giv) has a musky scent with clearly animal and powdery aspects.
The scent is not particularly strong, undiluted use is common. Typical use is in
musk accords. You usually use between 0,1% and 15% of this substance in the
fragrance composition. It has some aspects of nitro musks, but much lighter than
for example musk ketone. It adds warmth and depth to the scent. In perfumes it
is mainly a base note. It is stable in many products, including soap, but it is
better not to use it in very acidic products or bleach.
