Avocado Oil is a carrier oil used in massage oil blends. It has an oily texturewith a quite slow absorption rate into the skin. Add a just enough to a too-fastabsorbing blend (e.g 5-10%) to give you the desired absorption rate.Not really recommended as a solvent in perfumery compounds due to poorsolubility of resins, citrus oils (terpenes), powders and crystals plus willtend to produce rancid notes.

Oil from Baltic amber obtained using the so-called dry distillation is a unique substance on a global scale. Its application is mainly medicinal because its scent is highly peculiar. It has nothing to do with the notes found in Ambre 83 base or in molecules like Ambrocenide. Its scent is closer to the old grease found at the bottom of a cellar than to the scent of the aforementioned substances. However, we believe that in the hands of a creative perfumer, this peculiar substance can find its application ;)
