Aldehyde C6, also known as n-hexanal, is a molecule with a distinctive and very intense scent. At high concentration, its aroma can be sharp and reminiscent of waxy or fatty notes. Its true role in perfumery emerges after proper dilution. In small amounts, Aldehyde C6 imparts a fresh and realistic “green” note to fragrances. Its scent recalls freshly cut grass, crushed leaves, and unripe apple peel. It is a key element in creating natural, vegetal accords, adding dynamism and sharpness. Always requires precise dosing to avoid overpowering the whole composition. NOTE: Dilute to 1% before use.
