SOLUBILIZER (POLYSORBATE 20)Solubilizer (Polysorbate 20) is a water solubiliser for essential oils andperfume compounds. It has a faint warm-oily shampoo like note. Use from 4 partsPolysorbate 20 to, 1 part oil or compound. Mix the Polysorbate with the oil orperfume compound well then add the water slowly, stirring all the time. Note:Using some ethanol (20-30%) with the water will help the clarity of the endproduct and you may be able to reduce the amount of solubilizer necessary. Aswith all solubilisers the exact amount required for a completely clear solutiondepends on each compounds own ingredients and some materials like citrus oilsand resins are almost impossible to get completely clear.

Solubilizer Extra Clear

Solubilizer Extra Clear is the Rolls Royce of water solubilisers! A high gradevery efficient solubilizer blend. It has a bland surfactant-like odour with afaint solvent note. Use from 1 part Extra Clear to 1 part oil/compound. Mix itwith the oil or perfume compound well then add the water, in the beginning dropby drop, stirring it into a paste. As soon as the paste starts to become runnyadd the rest of the water quickly stirring rapidly, stirring all the time. Note:Using a little ethanol (10-20%) with the water may help the clarity of the endproduct and reduce the amount of solubiliser necessary. As with all solubilisersthe exact amount required for a completely clear solution depends on eachcompounds own ingredients and some materials like citrus oils and resins arealmost impossible to get completely clear.

Solubilizer PWS is to help essential oils and perfumes mix into water basedproducts. It has a bland faint oily surfactant note. Use from 2 parts or moresolubiliser to 1 part compound. Its about 2x more efficient than Polysorbate 20.Mix it with the oil or perfume compound well then add the water slowly, stirringall the time. Note: Using a little ethanol (10-20%) with the water will help theclarity of the end product. As with all solubilisers the exact amount requiredfor a completely clear solution depends on each compounds own ingredients andsome materials like citrus oils and resins are almost impossible to getcompletely clear.
